Impact shock events in multimodal container transshipment for packaging testing

In modern global supply chains, intermodal and multimodal distribution has become essential means of transportation. The combination different modes transport is the most commonly used method for distributing shipments between continents. This paper examines measures physical events, such as shock impact, that occur while transporting 40ft long ISO containers using multiple transport. These events can directly affect integrity packaged products cause damage. study focuses on transshipments handling in hubs terminals. impact levels were separately analyzed all three-dimensional directions, namely vertical, longitudinal, lateral. results indicate percentage occurrence below a given level statistical characteristics occurred. magnitude mean acceleration levels, pulse duration, velocity change are also reported.
